This premium filter set was chosen to work in conjunction with Great Water^® 2 stage countertop and undersink filter units to provide 2000 gallons of lead free clean water when matched with Chicago's water supply.

IMPORTANT - Simple but important. The Great Water^® two stage high capacity filter requires that the green flow regulated cartridge be placed on the right hand filter sump (as you face the upright unit). The small hole in the bottom of the green capped GR2-10R must be placed downward facing (toward the threads of the housing) on the right hand side. The GR-VOC should be placed on the left. The GR-VOC can be placed either end up.

The reason is simple too. The high velocity water flow in the near vicinity of the flow regulator disrupts the accuracy of the digital flow meter built into the base of the left hand sump. The water would be just as pure, but the digital readout would be erratic.

In the undersink unit, the order of the cartridges on the left or right does not matter, however the flow regulated GW2-10R must still be placed with the small hole towards the threads of the filter ("up" on the undersink).
